NEW INTERNATIONAL ART BOOK: ‘MOOD THE ART OF TODAY’

Knowing the artistic movements that occur within the art world in these times can be complicated, luckily there are publications such as 'MOOD The Art of Today' that seek to bring all the information to the interested parties without leaving the sofa.

This publication includes a wide selection of the most current contemporary art, giving visibility to the artists that appear in it. Its international distribution both on paper and online allow it to reach all users who require it.

Galleries, museums and professionals such as curators or collectors are the main interested in publications like this one. In addition, it will be announced in The Art Newspaper, a publication with an average circulation of more than 23,000 copies, and in Art Market International Art Magazine, with some 50,000 readers around the world. This book, thanks to its format, allows to know different art projects that would otherwise be difficult to cover.

The format of this new art book will allow online, in ebook, to reach channels of artistic resources, subscribers, collectors and readers. And its circulation on paper will be through galleries around the world, electronic commerce and physical stores. Each artist will also be promoted in the project's online publications, as well as on social networks for a full year.

From the project they are looking for artists to join this proposal to make their work known. The book will be published in September 2020 and proposals for this call can be submitted until mid-August.

From the publication they tell us: “MOOD The Art of Today provides an opportunity to professionally present works of art through a remarkable medium, to gain publicity and increase sales. This issue will be published in September 2020 on the eve of the art gallery openings in the fall. ”

The request to participate in the project can be made from its website.

DgArt Gallery launches new artists

I consider myself an art lover. Although I am especially interested in the art of the High Middle Ages, from the Visigothic and the Pre-Romanesque to the Romanesque, this does not mean that I am not interested in and appreciate other styles.

It is true that current art is far from that of past times. The immense variety of techniques, the countless artists, the messages are very varied ... each artist seems like a new world full of feelings, ideas and emotions to express, to understand and to value in their proper measure. Therefore, it is not easy to stay up to date and know the new means of artistic expression or their creators. But to facilitate this work there are initiatives such as the DgArt Gallery that provide a showcase and a place to meet new talents.

The art gallery DgArt Gallery was born in 2005 in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, as a meeting point between artists from this Scandinavian country and Spain. A large number of internationally renowned and prestigious creators have exhibited there. Over time, little by little, it opened towards other horizons, also welcoming artists from Latin America and North America. And in 2017 the project expanded to the Iberian Peninsula and opened a new headquarters in the Asturian city of Gijón.

Daniel García Andersson, its director and also artistic creator, has managed to build a place that facilitates the exchange and discovery of ideas. And this atmosphere of fascination for the avant-garde has also managed to transfer it to its website.

But, from my point of view, one of the most valuable sections of the art gallery is called Artist of the Month. Every month DgArt Gallery presents an artist that it considers deserves a promotion for its history and work.

A leisurely tour of this section opens our eyes to a wide range of compositions, artists, contemporary creativity that is reflected in the paintings, collages, sculptures and digital art of its artists. These are as varied as the Swedish painter Chatarina Salomonsson, with acrylic cares with a feminine theme; the influence of the Bauhaus that can be seen in Juan Pita; the urban provocation and social boredom that inspires the Italian Mario Loprete; the oil textures of the Belgian Christel Van Hemelrijck; the Nordic landscapes, almost dreamlike, but evocatively colored by Lotten Orest; the evolution of graffiti proposed by the Spanish Mercedes Lagunas; the detailed oil portraits of Francisco Caso del Corro; or the colorful expression of emotional states that is the basis of the work of the Argentine Luisa Vicente Isola.

These are just a few examples of the renowned creators involved in the DgArt Gallery project. A recommended place to be visited, both physically and virtually.

DgArt Gallery launches new artists

Tenerife, Stockholm and Gijón. This European triangle is the basis of DgArt Gallery and, a gallery that was born as a bridge between Swedish and Spanish art and that over the years became a network. A network of international artists with a nucleus of union: the DgArt Gallery.

In its extensive catalog we find artists from Europe, Latin America and North America, among others. A catalog that is expanding with the discovery of new talents. Artists who fill the walls and digital catalog of the art gallery with authenticity and creativity.

Artist of the month

Every month DgArt Gallery presents the artist of the month, an artist who due to his work and career deserves greater visibility. This monthly project has the collaboration of MOOD Art Fair and can be followed both on their website and on social networks and they will surely surprise us with the selection of artists they have prepared.

April was the month of Toñi Armenteros, a Spanish artist who, in her works, shows through spots and loose brushstrokes, her feelings and emotions, demonstrating her tenderness and strength in her paintings.

The month of May is dedicated to Chatarina Salomonsson, an artist who last February completed two years of artistic career. Her work is based on painting women, strong women. Self-taught artist who shares a work with feeling, where strength, love and at the same time an explosion of emotions that are touched.

Stockholm to Gijón

That September 2005 is far away, when Daniel García Andersson, born in Tenerife, opened the gallery in the center of Stockholm, the capital of culture and art. In its beginnings, it welcomed artists with national and international prestige and young artists who have grown up in the gallery. The gallery evolved and encompassed a greater variety, opening up to international art and expanding its artistic collection.

In 2017 he decided to open a gallery in Spain, in the north of the country, in Gijón. A project that preserves the same DNA from the beginning, but with a hunger for the future and new projects. In addition, thanks to the collaboration with MOOD Art Fair they have jointly promoted innovative works, which follow international trends but assume a certain risk.

The most important project that DgArt Gallery and Mood Art Fair are currently working on, together with other galleries, is the edition of the art book Mood The Art of Today, which has more than 200,000 readers and more than 20,000 art galleries and collectors.

Its website is not just a catalog of works of art and artists, it is a meeting point between the gallery, friends, clients and people who love art. Thanks to this digital format of the gallery, anyone can have access to the projects and be able to participate in them easily and comfortably. Of course, the best of art is to see it without a screen in between; so the best thing is to visit the gallery and let yourself be carried away by the proposals of DgArt Gallery.

DgArt Gallery launches new artists

It was in September 2005 when DgArt Gallery opened its doors in the capital of Sweden, Stockholm, one of the world capitals of fashion and design. Its main objective was to publicize and establish a meeting point that encompasses both Swedish art and international art. Since its foundation, until today, a large group of contemporary artists of great national and international prestige have passed through its walls, as well as new artistic promises that have grown with the gallery.

The founder of DgArt Gallery was Daniel García Andersson, who after having been involved in different projects and artistic publications decided to open this gallery in a beautiful 16th century building in the Scandinavian city.

Artists from all over the world

Since its origins, DgArt Gallery has evolved, gradually opening its arms and widening its sights with the aim of encompassing an ever greater variety of art.

Although initially the gallery was more focused on the commercialization and exhibition of Swedish art, over time, its knowledge and funds have become international. Its large list of works includes works by North American, Latin American, European and other artists from all over the world.

Stockholm to Gijón

After Daniel García Andersson moved to Spain in 2017, he decided to open a new gallery in the north of the country, specifically in the city of Gijón.

The philosophy of the project has continued in its new location, embracing new artists and organizing different art fairs, juried competitions, exhibitions and projects.

The success of the proposal seems to indicate that this is not the only expansion of this interesting artistic bet.

Participate in DgArt Gallery

DgArt Gallery has its own web page, from which it invites anyone to access its proposals, knowing its work and participating in its many projects in an easy and comfortable way.

Of course, the gallery recommends visiting its facilities and its future art fairs and exhibitions.

DgArt Gallery Collaborations

DgArt Gallery's collaboration with different art galleries, such as Mood Art Fair, is very close, both in Spain and in other countries.

At present, the most important project that DgArt Gallery is working on is the edition of the book Mood The Art of Today, which has more than 200,000 readers.

DgArt Gallery and Mood Art Fair have many characteristics in common, such as their interest in promoting innovative works that are in line with the most avant-garde international lines, risky and independent of any neo-conceptual limitation.

The quality, plurality, coherence of criteria and the appropriate promotions have allowed the generation of an important national and international market, achieving growth in critical discourse and in the artistic space.

Both DgArt Gallery and Mood Art Fair share the same spirit when it comes to giving a unique character to the visual arts.

Finally, indicate that DgArt Gallery periodically presents "The artist of the month", in order to give greater visibility to the best artists. You can see it both on their website and on that of Mood Art Fair, as well as on their social networks.

DgArt Gallery, the new art gallery that breaks barriers in Gijón

A new exhibition space is born where urban artists can exhibit their works and where other disciplines and artistic projects have a place

Leaving aside the traditional, DgArt Gallery abandons the classic concept of an art gallery as an aseptic and merely exhibition space, to offer a warmer and more open art experience.

From its facilities, the new art gallery was born with the vocation of becoming the favorite place for urban, emerging or established artists to show their works; in addition to sharing space with other disciplines and artistic projects.

Through its website www.dgart.eu, the gallery promotes artists from all over the world; both established and emerging artists can request collaboration. In addition, the gallery participates in exhibitions and international art fairs.

"For a gallery to be able to work worldwide, it does not need a physical location in the center of a capital," explains its founder, who checks daily that it is possible to work internationally with artists, galleries and collectors, regardless of where it is located, thanks to the broadcasting facilities provided by the Internet.

DgArt Gallery is currently collaborating with leading artists, such as Per-Inge Isheden and Daniel García Andersson, from Sweden; or Andrés Vijande and Patricia Villamarín, from Gijón; among other artists with great potential.

Among the projects that it has underway, the launch of a promotional book for artists stands out, which will be distributed in more than 15,000 art galleries around the world, and will be disseminated in large circulation magazines of the sector. "I am confident that it will mean high impact marketing for artists, so many will want to participate," he advances. Likewise, DgArt Gallery collaborates with other art galleries in Madrid and cities in South America.
